Worship and Music

Description :
Our ministry team provides planning and support for weekly Sunday services.  We also plan special worship services, including Wednesday evening Lenten and Advent Services. 
 
Worship Services
   

If you are interested in participating in any of the following areas at the various services, just contact a member of the Worship & Music Ministry Team. 

  • Assistant Ministers: 8am, 10:30am
  • Lectors:  8am, 10:30am
  • Ushers:  8am, 10:30am
  • Cantors:  8am, 10:30am
  • Acolytes:  8am, 10:30am
  • Crucifers:  8am, 10:30am  
  • Altar Guild:  8am, 10:30am
  • Communion Assistants:  8am, 10:30am
  • Eucharistic Ministers
  • Soundroom:  8am, 10:30am   
 
Worship and Music offers:
 
  • Adult choir - vocal choir open to grade 9 through adult.  Choir sings at the 10:30 service, as well as special services and other musical events.  Choir rehearses each Wednesday from 6:30pm – 8:00pm
    (except during Lent and Advent - 8:30)
  • Youth Choir - Grades 2-8; Rehearses Sundays at 6:00pm; performs every 4-6 weeks at the 10:30 service. 
  • Youth Hand Chimes – Grades 2-8; Rehearses Sundays at 5:30pm; performs every 4-6 weeks at the 10:30 service. 
  • Eucharistic Ministry for those who are unable to attend worship services

  • Worship & Music Ministry Team -  2nd Tuesday of each month from 7:00pm - 9:00pm
  • Worship Planning for 7pm Lighthouse Service – 3rd Tuesday – 6:30 – 8:30
 
Additional Information:
We at St. Paul Lutheran Church (ELCA) practice open communion.  All baptized Christians, at Christ’s invitation, are invited to partake.  We offer red wine, and white grape juice.
